Twelve.

The other day I stayed up late and started thinking about numbers. Not numbers as in the amount of money you make, the economy, or anything similar to either of those. I decided to count out my number of sexual partners.

Fashion Friday: Vacation Time!

One of my main goals this year is to travel more, explore more, attend more events, blog more and over all just live a more enjoyable life by living in the present. Ever since I was younger I always loved traveling and going on weekend getaways with my parents. We'd stay in 4/5 star hotels with beautiful views of the ocean and such. Now that I'm older and graduated from college I would love to continue with some of those trends into the new year. So I basically made it my goal to attempt travel more this year. However, when traveling you must have the perfect wardrobe right

Sunday Funday: The World of Employment!

Hi I'm Ashley Clayton and I applied for a Sales Associate position at Maurices. However, they believe that my skills would be better suited for an Assistant Manager position so I was hired as that instead! Yay me! Basically that is why I haven't blogged since Wednesday.

Why every girl needs a male wing-man (an ode to my wing-man)

Download / By Dominik Martin

Sorry for the accidental blogger break you guys but I'm back and better than ever!

Today is a pretty special day for me. One of my favorite people in the entire world turns 21 today! MARIO. Basically our friendship started when an acquaintance of mine had shown an interest in him and started talking to him. Despite their awkward (yes awkward) situation our friendship blossomed and throughout the rest of my years at Hiram he had quickly become my one of my best friends. A statement I use loosely but in this situation I mean ever word of it.

Why? Well a girl needs her wing man or male best friend and this I found in him. Someone whom if they wanted to could incriminate my life but because they care wouldn't dream of it.

20 times Buster Baxter (from Arthur) was basically my spirit animal

If you've never watched Arthur than you are missing out on an important part of what makes life so great. Essentially Arthur is a children's show on PBS Kids about a child name Arthur, his friends, and family. Two seasons are on Netflix and most episodes are on Youtube (trust me I know these things). Honestly though, despite the show being called Arthur the best and most memorable moments are episodes that are heavily Buster Baxter induced.

The road to self-discovery is paved with good intentions?

It's Tuesday! I hope your Monday was productive and full of pleasant surprises. Since I just graduated college last month I moved back home hopefully until September 1st when I'll be moving to L.A. to peruse a career.  I took a day off yesterday from career searching, researching, and blogging (a surprisingly unexpected break) and focused on enjoying life. I spent the day with my niece watching Goosebumps, cooking, and baking. We made some pretty fun galaxy cookies (multi-colored swirl cookies shaped like stars). That was probably the best part of my summer so far (and it's only June)!

Sometimes you grow apart and that's okay.

That's Jordan and Alex. The two people I basically spent my entire awkward teenage stage with. They're what you would call my best friends. An acquaintance asked about them last time we talked and stated something that threw me for a loop. That perhaps we're outgrowing each other. JORDAN, ALEX and I! I proceeded to deny the idea of us ever being on different pages. It wasn't possible. We have history. We've had arguments, inside jokes, and everything under the sun. Growing apart simply didn't seem like an option...until now.
