I was asked a really interesting question recently that jolted me into deep thought. "What is your current favorite fashion trend?" Instantly thoughts of Lisa Bonet popped in my head. Her dreads, curls, long, short, straight everything about her hair just drives me insane. Than I started to picture her clothes. Effortless, nomadic, unique. Her style screams of wanderlust. A woman who would rather explore life than be required to adjust to societal norms. Lisa Bonet is sort of my life idol in every way (any girl that gets Lenny Kravitz and Jason Momoa is well liked in my book). Her characters on T.V. (The Cosby Show, A Different World, a bunch of other random stuff) aren't the only person that dares to stand out. So does Lisa. Her style is Bohemian.

Movie Night: Mean Girls and Clueless!

Basically I'm not reviewing a movie tonight. I really wanted to watch Mean Girls and Clueless instead. Yes, I could have reviewed them and discussed how I felt about these movies. Honestly though, they're classics and I happen to adore these two films. So instead of me going on a "I love these movies and why" rant I will post some of my favorite scenes, lines and show how these films relate to the lives of basically every 20 something girl or just me.

I remember when Myspace first came on the scene. I was obsessed with it. I ran a Myspace layout site, attempted to be a site model, and had several role play accounts (yes I was an anime role player). When Facebook started rising in popularity I switched over and instantly attempted to learn how to use the site and became just as obsessed. Now years later I have fallen in love with all forms of social media.

Sunday Funday: DISNEY LAND!

Disney Land just celebrated its 59th anniversary on July 17th, 2014 and I was extremely devastated that I was unable to go. However, I am able to go tomorrow before I move so here are some lovely photos from my Disney Land/ Disney's California Adventure experience last summer with my friends!

Movie Night: Robot & Frank (spoilers...so many spoilers)

For this movie review I took some notes and decided to share them with you. During my screenwriting class I decided that writing, pausing, and rewinding were the best methods for me to be able to understand a movie entirely. No, I don't do this for every film I watch but I follow this method for films that I am going to review. So here are a couple (not) just a couple of my thoughts throughout the film.

I love shopping! Do you love shopping? If so then you'll probably love this post too. I actually hate list posts and I seem to be doing a lot of them lately (Bucket list and Top 10 songs would have been better by someone else) but this one is kind of important. I just graduated from college so I lived the past four years of my life on a budget. However, that doesn't mean I had to dress poorly. Being fashionable on a budget is a real thing! So here are some of my favorite sites that I barely hear about, hear about a lot, or are just perfect for every occasion.

I love bucket lists I even have a Pinterest board specifically for creating my bucket list. So in honor of my blog being a little over 1 month old, 40 views away from 1,000 and having over 100 followers on Facebook I decided to give myself some goals for the rest of the year. Some of these are my own (like the 24 hour sex and the city marathon with wine) but some are from this amazing site I came across Bucketlist.org

What if: 10 songs that would have been better if sung by another artist

There are successful artist with successful songs, unsuccessful artist with successful songs, successful artist with unsuccessful songs and then there are songs and artist that are equally unsuccessful. Sometimes it's not because the artist but they're unsuccessful because of poor management (JoJo) .
Not everyone can be accepted into their chosen genre but their songs are still perfect either way. So here's a list based on my favorite list from VH1 (Check out the VH1 list here).

Sunday Funday: The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman

IT'S SUNDAY! Are you excited for the week? I should be traveling to Fresno, California soon (if not today than sometime soon) to visit my brother, take a much needed vacation and handle some business. Basically job hunt and apartment search. Anyways every Saturday(and I mean EVERY even if it's like 2am because Sunday for me doesn't start until I wake up) I will review a movie I have recently seen. Whether it is good or bad. Oh and I promise to try and not give too many spoilers. However, today I will do a movie review because I have recently seen "The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman" and I need to discuss it. Plus if you follow me on Facebook or Twitter (which you should/links are on the right) you know I promised this review last night.

Fashion Friday: Audrey Hepburn

Happy Friday! If you haven't heard this is a big weekend for the NBA. Lebron signed with the Cavaliers and Nick Young resigned with the Lakers. I like to believe that Nick resigned because of rapper girlfriend/fashionista Iggy Azalea but you never know. Speaking of fashion it's one of my favorite days of the week, Fashion Friday (everyday is my favorite day)! So what does that mean? It means I will be sharing with you one of my favorite fashion icons of all time and why they're PERFECT.

Changing ambitions: WE'RE ON FACEBOOK and here's some advice

That's right! Twe1ve2 has officially made it to Facebook. Well, I finally decided to create a Facebook page for Twe1ve2. Why the wait? Well I wanted to build some sort of following and make sure blogging was something I was actually passionate about. Not just a past time like the time I was really into drawing anime or wanted to be a chef.

Sunday Funday: Life Update and things I loved last week.

HAPPY SUNDAY! It's the first Sunday of one of my favorite months "July"! This is the second installment of my Sunday Funday series of posts so I figured I would give you a little update on my life. I am still waiting for a callback from Chipotle (I had my 2nd interview). Last week I was finally published on ABS Style (I can officially call myself a fashion blogger). I gave myself Marley Twists yesterday for the first time and I think they came out pretty good. Its one of my favorite protective hairstyles for my hair outside of loc extensions.

Oh my, I love July.

Today is the third day of July one of my favorite months of the year. July is in the middle of the summer and makes me think of adventures, exploring, and making new friends. Some of the things I enjoy most in life (I actually took that photo while exploring).

Besides that July is the only month other than January that inspires me to get fit and healthy. It's just something about fresh lemonade and night swimming that makes me want to get slim. But I also am insanely in love with Netflix and am not sure how to separate myself from it. Luckily I don't have to after finding these wonderful workouts online that incorporate both my love for being healthy with my addiction to Netflix.
