Woman Crush Wednesday: An Ode to the bride

“All I’m saying is that I don’t want to sort of fall in love with fifty different people. I’d rather find one person and fall completely, deeply in over my head.”
-Anna White "The Light and Fallen"

There is nothing more beautiful than a woman in love. Her smile, the way she walks, her choice of words and everything about her just screams happiness. Actually there is. What's more beautiful is when said woman is loved in return. Therefore this week's "Woman Crush Wednesday" goes out to all the beautiful brides out there.

You remind hopeless romantics that love does exist because you've found it in someone you weren't sure you would meet. With a person who accepts your flaws even when you don't accept them yourself. You can't imagine what life without them would be so you don't think about it. Living in the moment and forgetting about the future is the most important thing right now. As you walk down that aisle, cut your cake together, or share your first dance it hits you that the future is a long time away.

You're in love.

You remind us hopeless romantics that marriage is sometimes more than a piece of paper. That it is a commitment. A commitment that you made and vow to always honor or at least try to. Let's be honest, you will get mad at him and he'll get mad at you. You'll fight. You'll cry but in the end you're in love.

Your love is a story in its self that could easily rival Romeo and Juliet. That could make people forget who Cinderella was because princess it is your day.

So to all the future brides, past brides, and soon to be brides. You are beautiful and my "Woman Crush Wednesday".
